#VeteranOfTheDay Marine Veteran Elliott McKenzie

shadow

Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Marine Veteran Elliott McKenzie.

Elliott served from 2003 to 2007 as an 0311 Rifleman. He deployed to Ramadi, Iraq for Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2005 with 1st Battalion, 5th Marines.

Elliott left the Marine Corps in 2007 and started developing symptoms of PTSD. He now uses music as therapy and a way to give back to the Veteran community.

He recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in behavioral science.

Thank you for your service, Elliott!
