Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Thomas J. Carter III.
Thomas enlisted in the Army in 2003 and served with 3rd Infantry Division.
He is an Operation Iraqi Freedom Veteran.
Thomas separated from the military in 2007 and went on to work for the St Petersburg VA Regional Office in Florida.
In June 2013, Thomas became a father. He once said, “I never knew that I could love anyone this much, and I never thought anyone could love me as much as she does.”
Thomas passed away on May 24, 2014 and is buried at Bay Pines National Cemetery.
We honor his service.
