Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Andrew “Drew” Carey.

Drew enlisted in the Marine Corps Reserves in 1980 and served until 1986. His Primary MOS was 2531 Field Radio Operator and he last served with 3rd Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment. He separated at the rank of Sergeant.

“The Marines gave me a really strong sense of discipline and a work ethic that kicks in at my job,” Drew said, in an interview with ESPN. “I think that attitude comes from my Marine days.”

He also earned a perfect score on his physical fitness test.

Drew is best known for his roles on “The Drew Carey Show” and “Whose Line is it Anyway?” He is currently hosting “The Price is Right.”

Thank you for your service, Drew!
