Taking notice of recent research, VA is offering a number of alternative techniques for treating PTSD, including yoga. CBS This Morning recently visited VA’s Richmond medical center and talked with its chief of rehabilitation, Dr. Ajit Pai.
“There is more and more literature and research out there, especially that’s driven by VA, that yoga helps PTSD,” he told CBS. Read more on VA’s research here.
Pai said for patients with PTSD, VA offers yoga and Chinese practices such as chi gong, tai chi and even acupuncture.
“You will see certain folks just come to a level where they have tried everything,” Pai said.

i’m new to this blog, and have been told for years that yoga is the best for me since i do have PTSD, a lot of pain from a accident i had many years ago! while i was in the ARMY. But need to know if yoga is offered at must clinics?
