Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Pat Sajak.

Pat served in the Army during the Vietnam War.

He was originally trained as a clerk typist, was sent to Vietnam as a finance clerk, and finally was transferred to Saigon to be a disc jockey.

Pat shouted the memorable signature morning sign-on nearly every weekday from the studios of the American Forces Vietnam Network between October 1968 and December 1969.

He is now best known as the host of American television game show Wheel of Fortune.

Thank you for your service, Pat!
