The Student Veterans of America’s NatCon brings more than 2,000 student Veterans from around the country together to learn from inspiring speakers and leaders. There will be more than 96 breakout sessions. SVA also recognizes Veteran students and supporters during its annual SVA honors award ceremony.

NatCon welcomes over 100 sponsors and exhibitors annually, including Fortune 500 companies in a variety of industries. Past speakers have included Medal of Honor Recipients Ryan Pitts and Kyle White, Former VA Secretary Bob McDonald, Vice President Joe Biden, Former Second Lady Dr. Jill Biden, and President George W. Bush.

Most sponsors and exhibitors attend the conference to exclusively hire graduating student Veterans.

“NatCon is the premiere annual event for student Veterans from across the country, so we hope to see you there. Having seen the quality and innovative spirit of the breakout session proposals we’ve received this year, I am confident NatCon2020 will be our most valuable National Conference yet.” – SVA National President and CEO Jared Lyon

SVA encourages student Veterans, SVA chapter leaders, student governments and other student leaders to attend. Early bird registration is available for students and general attendees.

Are there opportunities for on the spot interviews with professionals during the event, or the chance to speak with company recruiters.

    Tim,
Could you provide more information and resources for us veterans that have navigated through postservice education and obtained degrees and are now in a position to provide mentorship? For many of us that have been separated for a while now and have achieved higher degrees, and opened up our own businesses some of these new opportunities available to recent veterans are a little foreign to us. Having said that we still have the excitement to help our brother and veterans achieve future successes. Is this an opportunity for us to give back?

I am a Desert Storm, OIF, and OEF military veteran and don’t understand why would you even have this type of event where military Veterans or military personnel are not welcomed or respected? A better place to hold such an event would be Military City USA, which is San Antonio, Texas with over 250,000 military veterans living here and over 80,000 active-duty military personnel working here. Texas really respects and appreciates its Veterans which would make it a much better choice for this conference to be held here.

A R – the conference moves around the country. Last year it was in Orlando, the year before that it was in San Antonio.

Hello, SVA moves the location of NatCon every year to accommodate students in different regions of the country. NatCon was held in Orlando, Florida last year and San Antonio, Texas in 2018.

What are you talking about? Stop repeating BS talking points. Texas isn’t the only state that “respects Veterans”
Stop allowing your clear political bias influence how you treat organizations that working to improve Veteran lives across the nation. Completely antithetical to the mission of SVA.

I am a Vietnam Nam veteran. Is this open to us as well? I am not through learning & I would like to offer to teach as well. I have 50+ years in the food service business w/ 20 years owning our own restaurant.
    Thank you, Jim Statler
