Twelve community and strategic partners recently met (virtually) for the first VA Customer Experience Partnership Round table to create a community of practice.with the goal of allowing Veterans and their families across all eras and demographics to access community resources and care, improve the Veteran’s experience using best practices, and create a coordinated support model that can be replicated.
“VA can’t do it alone, and we are honored to be working with our partners as we serve our Veterans, their families, caregivers, and survivors,” said Dr. Lynda Davis, VA’s Chief Veterans Experience Officer.
Dr. Davis also shared customer experience insights from VA’s Veteran-customers, while offering to share partner resources in VA’s new outreach campaign Vantage Point Newsletter – News and Resources for Veterans, their families, caregivers, and survivors. In the month of April 2019, this campaign drove more than 1M clicks to VA and non-VA Veteran resources. Subscribe to Vantage Point Newsletter
VA encourages our partners to be creative and suggest how they could improve Veteran care plans, make resources more accessible, integrate with whole health initiatives, support work under the Mission Act and Executive Orders, and help to institutionalize excellent customer service.

The SCSP seeks out big, bold and impactful collaborations that significantly improve Veterans lives. SCSP collaborates with industry and non-profit organizations to further the VA Secretary’s highest priority initiatives for Veterans, their families, survivors, and caregivers. Partnership commitments have increased access to and improved the quality of healthcare, extended broadband internet access to rural and low-income Veterans, delivered expansive telehealth services, and provided best-in-class oncology care.
