The VA should have their own independent site not affiliated with Facebook or Twitter to be able to apply for benefits or request our records.

I agree!!! I also do not do facebook due to its anti-conservative views and being a conduit for spreading false information. It has negatively affected me personally and caused hate and discontent among my family and church affiliation. I had to write some of family off my life; thanks to facebook and other media. So I do not like facebook. PERIOD

Why are you releasing you new software to the public that is frought with errors. My VA rating from Ebenifts, to VA.gov, to MilConnect is reporting different on each of your websites. Instead of just fixing your software, I have to file a new claim, produce evidence, and wait for a new VA decision. Not a very user friendly system at all.

I just read about the new Veteran-run site and was extremely encouraged by the news. That is until I read further and discovered that the site would be associated with facebook.
I don’t do facebook. They have shown themselves to be anti-conservative, which is to say they are anti-Republican, as well as anti-anything they don’t agree with wholeheartedly..
    Therein lies the rub.
I suppose that I’ll survive without the Cretins in charge of fb but it’s entirely possible that I may miss significant news geared for me.
    So be it.

We’ll have a recap right here on VAntage Point a few days after the event.

Yes Sir I fully agree, what I don’t understand is why the VA does this… it should be an independent site for the benefit of Veterans…I too will most likely miss important information, but I am willing to pay the price rather than get tied in with FB… let all Veterans know about this and sent in our comments to the VA and to the Administration because I am sure they would have a few pointed questions about this too…
