Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Army Veteran June Wandrey Mann.

June was from Wautoma, Wisconsin and served in the Army Nurse Corps during World War II.

Her service brought her to Africa, Sicily, Italy, France, and Germany.

June shared her experiences as an Army Nurse in the book “Bedpan Commando.” She passed away in 2005.

We honor her service.
