#VeteranOfTheDay Marine Veteran Perry Lee Peoples

shadow

Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Marine Veteran Perry Lee Peoples. Perry served during the Vietnam War from 1966 to 1967.

Perry was from Dodson, Louisiana and joined the 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment as a rifleman.

He was well liked by everyone in his platoon and enjoyed listening to oldies music.

Perry was killed in action in Vietnam, on his birthday, April 26, 1967.

We honor his service.
