Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Navy Veteran Helen Tannehill. Helen served from 2010 to 2015.

Helen graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in English. After graduating from the academy, she served as a surface warfare officer. Her ship assignments included the USS Cape St. George as a division manager and the USS Green Bay as an assistant operations officer. Helen and her shipmates received military media recognition for their volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity.

Following her Naval service, she graduated from Texas Christian University with a master’s degree in business administration while simultaneously participating in multiple extracurricular activities. Currently, Helen is a program manager with Oncor Electric Delivery near Dallas, Texas.

Thank you for your service, Helen!
