This spring, VA will begin construction of a 45,000-square-foot outpatient medical annex in Orange, Connecticut. Not only will this expand access to VA care to Veterans in the area, it will also create numerous career opportunities for professionals interested in serving patients who’ve served America.
At the new facility, Veterans will be able to receive many of the services currently provided at the Errera Community Care Center in West Haven, including primary care; mental health and intensive case management; dietetics and more. The annex will also house national VA programs such as the National Center for PTSD Clinical Neurosciences Administration Division and the National Tele Medical Health Center Decision Support Service. Construction of the facility is expected to be completed in the fall of 2019.
This is an excellent time to consider a future with VA. As one of our employees, you’ll enjoy outstanding benefits, including generous paid time off and other perks that support a healthy work-life balance. You’ll also have access to state-of-the-art technology, groundbreaking research and other great resources that will help you perform at your best and continually grow in your career.
