On August 15, the National Veteran Small Business Conference will kick off in New Orleans. The conference, a four day joint effort by VA and the Veteran Federal Interagency Council, is designed to help Veteran-owned businesses win federal contracts and provide a space for Vets to learn more about small business operations and networking and marketing.     Involved in partnership in steel and iron building erection subcontracting. I’m a Vietnam era Vet. Special Forces one year in Vietnam. I’m currently rated 70% disabled. Would like to learn more information on securing Federal government contracts. Does the fact that we currently only subcontract on any erection project cause us to loose any of the benefits from being a veteran friendly organization.
