Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Navy Veteran Leslie Allen.
Leslie served in the Navy during World War II as an electrician’s mate third class. Both of his brothers were also in the military, and they served in the Pacific at the same time, though at different locations.
After his time in the Navy he returned to Salem, Indiana, and worked as an electrician for 48 years.
Leslie passed away in 2012. We honor his service.
