Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is William “Bill” Bates.

Bill served in the Navy as a Gunners Mate 3rd Class.

He was stationed in Guam and served in the Pacific Theater during World War II.

Do you want to light up the face of a special Veteran? Have you been wondering how to tell your Veteran they are special to you? You’re in luck! VA’s #VeteranOfTheDay social media feature is an opportunity to highlight your Veteran and his/her service.

    Our community group is trying to get sidewalks for our veterans who are blind..disabled….the town has limited money..and can not follow ADA..requirements..how can we get help from the VA
