Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Tarryl Hill.
Tarryl enlisted in the Marine Corps in April 2006 out of Shelby Township, Michigan. He served as a 3381 Food Service Specialist.
He was assigned to 1st Battalion, 24th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division when he deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. An improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle during combat operations in Anbar Province. On February 7, 2007, he died of injuries sustained from that explosion.
We honor his service.
