Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Army Veteran Andrew Mayer. Andrew served in Afghanistan.

Andrew grew up in Long Beach, California. After attending and graduating from Texas Christian University in 2009, he served as an armor officer with the U.S. Army. After four years of military service, he returned to Texas Christian University and graduated with his MBA in 2015.

Andrew was awarded the Bronze Star for his 2012 Afghanistan deployment, where he served as an advisor to Afghan National Civil Order Police.

Today, he works as a terminal train master with BNSF Railway.

Thank you for your service, Andrew!
