Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Air Force Veteran Dona Marie White.

Marie entered the Air Force in 1994. She served as a Personnel Craftsman and spent time stationed in Korea, Japan, Turkey, Italy, and Texas.

She deployed to Al Udeid, Qatar in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom as part of the Personal Support for Contingency Operations (PERSCO).

She received her Associates Degree in Personal Administration from the Community College of the Air Force.

Marie retired with 20 years of honorable service. She currently attends Texas A&M Corpus Christi in pursuit of a bachelors degree in Human Resource Management. She is the Junior Vice Commander at VFW Post 3837. She is also a member of Disabled American Veterans.

    Dona Marie White, if you read this, I thank you for your service to this country. I am glad there are people like you willing to serve this country. Without the tax payers there is no military. Without people like you working in the back ground there is no Infantry. Again, thank you for your service.

    Nothing says that she is a disabled Veteran, she earned the right to be nominated in here just like you or I. I have been deployed, and no they wouldn’t give me 100%.

    Another thing, just cause your in the Airforce doesn’t mean everyone has been in a plane. Just like the army, not all have seen combat and probably less than half have carried weapons.

      They mis-spelled it. Meant “Personnel” she worked at the customer base personnel office. The place you go for new ID’s, records, reenlistment that sort of stuff.

    You never mentioned if she was involved in any form of combat!!The air force high up general never flew in a plane,female!.Give her 100% disability!!!!HA HA!!! What a croc!!
