If you’re looking to serve those who have served our country, then joining our Physical Therapy team is the job for you. At VA, we work closely with our Veterans to not only rehabilitate them but also to help them regain their identity. It doesn’t matter whether you are breaking into the industry or in the advanced stages of your career – the opportunity for growth is here.

Endless career opportunities

The sky’s the limit when you work for the largest health care systems in the US, especially as a Physical Therapist. We are one of the biggest PT employers, employing over 1,800 physical therapists as well as over 400 physical therapy assistants.

Hands-on experience

As valued members of VA’s patient care, our Physical Therapists play a vital hands-on role in the Rehabilitation Services we offer, including Prosthetic and Polytrauma System of Care. In addition, you will also have the opportunity to work closely and learn from various specialty teams throughout our clinical care settings, including inpatient acute care, primary care, amputation care and geriatric care.

Industry-leading accreditations

Our Physical Therapy program has earned recognition from both the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (JCAHCO) as a leader in meeting and exceeding the performance standards in our field.

Education support

We encourage our Physical Therapists to grow their careers through the leadership and education programs we offer. Some of the programs include Management Training, Incentive Scholarship Program and VA Learning University.

Improve the health of our Veterans

You will have the chance to help those who sacrificed their bodies and lives to protect our country. Their everyday needs and requirements will be your call to action. The trust that Veterans have in us leads to strong bonds that last long after the rehabilitation process.
