Blueprint for Success: Transforming VA Workspace

In response to the presidential directive to eliminate wasteful spending on federal real estate, VA’s Central Office is reducing its space use.

We are transforming the workspace into a strategic business tool that will save the taxpayer approximately $60 million over the next ten years by implementing 21st century practices of space optimization through the use of telework, virtual offices, touchdown stations, digitizing paper files, and conference room sharing.     Good idea! I saw the slide of the before shot at 1800 G St., but you don’t show VBA in the schedule of phases. What do you intend to do and when will you do it with VBA and the USB over on the 4th, 5th, and 6th floors at G Street?
