Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Army Veteran Jennifer McNeill.

Jennifer enlisted in the Army April 1976. She completed her basic training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, and advanced individual training at Fort Sam Houston, Texas where she trained as a dental assistant.

From there, she was assigned to Fort Polk, Louisiana, then to the 25th Medical Battalion, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. During her tour, she served as a squad leader, section sergeant and platoon sergeant. She was also selected as NCO of the quarter.

Among her many assignments, Jennifer also served in Korea where she served as the NCOIC of one of the dental clinics. She was also selected to attend the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute.

By the end of her military career, Jennifer had attended the Sergeant Major Academy and was assigned to Eisenhower Army Medical Center to serve as the troop commander and sergeant major. She retired from service in June 1998.

Thank you for your service, Jennifer!
