#VeteranOfTheDay Clay Eiland

Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Army Veteran Clay Eiland. Clay served during the Iraq War from 2007-2011.

Clay graduated from Texas Christian University in 2007 and served for four years as a transportation officer. One of the units he served with was the 4th Infantry Division. He deployed one time to Iraq and one time to Afghanistan. In 2011, his alma mater won the Rose Bowl and their football team sent an autographed poster to him in Afghanistan as part of a care package. He has been decorated with many awards including the Airborne Badge and the Air Assault Badge.

After his honorable discharge, Clay transitioned into the pharmaceutical industry. Currently, he is a senior account manager with Smith and Nephew. As a Veteran, he continues to be a military advocate as a member on the board of directors for his local chapter of Military Officers Association of America.

Thank you for your service, Clay!
