Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Army Veteran Rodrigo Quijada.
As a child, Rodrigo immigrated to the United States from Chile. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1987, serving as a field artillery soldier. One of his units was 1st Battalion, 63rd Armor, based in Germany during the 1990s. In 1993, he earned his undergraduate degree and later became a commissioned officer, also in field artillery. He retired from the military in 2010 after over 20 years of service. Initially after retirement, he worked multiple stints for various defense contractors teaching military personnel. Currently, he is an international student coordinator for foreign military attendees at Fort Sill, Oklahoma.
Thank you for your service, Rodrigo!
