VA Portland Health Care System (VAPORHCS), part of the VA Northwest Health Network (VISN 20) serves more than 95,000 Veterans and sees 950,000 outpatient Veteran visits each year in Oregon and Southwest Washington. VAPORHCS consists of the main tertiary care medical center overlooking the city of Portland, the Vancouver Campus in Vancouver, WA and 10 outpatient clinics across Central and Northwest Oregon.

So if Portland is the place to go to for VA care you can keep it. I had great hope when the VA built the long overdue care center in Eugene, Oregon. A great site, an awesome layout, helpful staffing. But after 3 months the changes in doctor seems to be the biggest issue for me. That is a lack of response and no follow through.
