Ever wondered what happens to enormous battleships once they been decommissioned? Better yet, would you believe me if I told you that pack of shaving razors you picked up from your local drug store was once a piece of the USS Enterprise?

Don’t get me wrong: the U.S. Navy does not sell directly to razor companies.  What happens is, decommissioned ships are sold to scrappers, who do the deed and sell their products to the manufacturer.
